ABOUT

Hi! I’m Kirsten Penaloza, founder of Bodhi Leaf Designs, Reiki practitioner, and maker of vegan, natural, soaps and skincare products. When I started to pay attention to the ingredients in skincare products, I was shocked to see how many harsh and harmful chemicals were used in every single product. Many brands test on animals, use animal products, or use plastic packaging that is harmful to our planet.

You can find a natural brand that is not vegan. You can find a vegan brand that is not natural. And you can find a natural, vegan brand that is not eco-friendly. 

With Bodhi Leaf Designs, you finally found a brand that is all of the above!

VISION

My goal is contributing to making this world a clean, green, and healthy one! 

Bodhi Leaf Designs uses plant-based, natural ingredients that are healthy for you and the environment.

I only use natural ingredients to add scent and color, dried flowers and herbs, and therapeutic grade essential oils to make artisanal, small-batch soaps - the reason why each soap is unique. 

Say good-bye to chemicals and non-natural preservatives, synthetic fragrances (including those who say "natural") and colorants, single-use plastic and opt instead for eco-friendly reusable, recyclable, or compostable containers, decoration, and upcycled/ recycled packaging.

Bodhi Leaf Designs is on a mission to bring wellbeing, inspiration, and happiness to everyone's life. As the owner and maker, I want to motivate you to believe in your dreams, to dream big, and to love yourself. Experience a life full of small and big miracles by using Reiki infused soaps, skincare products, and everyday items that bring a smile to your face.

I believe in our capacity of creating a better world. Together we can promote body-positivity and healthy minds while reducing harm to all sentient beings and the environment. 

With Bodhi Leaf Designs, I aim to be plastic-free - it’s not always perfect but it’s worth trying.
